THE FARM
In 2015, Gary was fortunate enough to buy & expand a 94-acre farm parcel off Fairview Road in Luray. Farming has always been Gary’s passion, his goal in life & it is what he enjoys doing the most!
After spending a lot of time riding around on a tractor mowing the hay fields on this property, Gary came to appreciate the beauty & knew this piece of ground could be more than just a hay farm. His desire is to always keep it as agricultural land (& now part of it is an amazing fall playground for all ages).
GARY BREEDEN & DARLENE ANDERSON
Gary Breeden & Darlene Anderson, owners of Fairview Fun Farm, are lifelong residents of Page County.
Both Gary & Darlene are (& have been) small business owners in this county. Darlene previously owned Flotzie's Soft Serve for 19 years in Luray, VA, and Gary is the owner of DR’s Quick Stop in Stanley, VA (which has the best fried chicken around)! Gary is also an avid hay farmer. Together they are the proud owners of Page County's newest attraction - the Fairview Fun Farm!
THE PUMPKIN PATCH
In the fall of 2019, Darlene said she had the perfect idea for the front section of the hay farm - “we need to do a pumpkin patch.” After thinking about the idea, Gary & Darlene felt like it would be a good fit for Page County. They wanted to share the fall fun with visitors & encourage families to visit or stay locally. They felt like those who were touring the beautiful county could also enjoy a little bit of the country life, including the beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains offered at the Fairview property.

After much hard work from a lot of dedicated people, Fairview Fun Farm was established in 2020.
A special thanks to Robbie Comer & Lee Gray, as well as many others, for constructing the play area from the ground up. Every year, we look forward to growing, expanding & adding even more exciting things at our farm.
